356,176. Supply systems. BRITISH THOMSON-HOUSTON CO., Ltd., Crown House, Aldwych, London.-(Assignees of Barton, T. F. ; 21, Norwood Avenue, Upper Montclair, New Jersey, U.S.A.) May 22, 1930, No. 15794. Convention date, May 22, 1929. [Class 38 (iv).] Running generators in parallel ; doubly-wound alternators, with.-The bus-bar 13, 14 supplying auxiliaries in a power-generating system employing an alternating current generator with a plurality of separately insulated armature windings 2, 3 supplying respectively a number of main distribution circuits 4, 5 is connected through transformers 17, 18 with each of the armature windings. A second generator may also supply the auxiliaries bus-bar and a transformer interconnecting the alternating current generators may have windings respectively connected to each of the armature circuits of the main generator and a third winding connected to the second generator. The main generator may be constructed as described in Specification 311,341, [Class 35, Dynamo-electric generators &c.], and its windings may supply the main distribution circuits by a multiple winding transformer 6 arranged and connected as in Specification 299,813, [Class 38 (iv), Electric supply and transmission systems &:c.]. The bus sections 13, 14 may be connected by a switch 12<1> normally open.
