[Class 34 (ii).] A conveyer for conveying grain, malt, pulped root-crops, &c., across a perforated or apertured horizontal table b through which hot air is passed, comprises transverse rods or tubes g secured by their flattened ends to straps s which with open links r form endless side-chains engaging toothed driving wheels, intermittently rotated by a pawl. The table and conveyer may be arranged within a casing on wheels, hot air being delivered below the table and directed to the fore end of the casing. Dampers may confine the air to the forward part of the casing.
