Abstract
355,946. Discharge rectifiers. ELIN AKT.-GES. FUR ELEKTRISCHE INDUSTRIE, 1, Volksgartenstrasse, Vienna. Aug. 26, 1930, No. 25444. Convention date, Aug. 28, 1929. [Class 39 (i).] Cooling air is directed downwards on to the glass container of a rectifier so as to impinge first on the condensing chamber 11. Air from a fan 20 is directed by a guide 15 on to the main body and is subsequently led by a guide 19 to the anode arms 13, 14. In a modification, Fig. 1 (not shown), the air is divided by a cylindrical guide into two streams which are directed respectively on to the main body and the anode arms. The air may be conducted to the rectifier by means of a pipe.
