[Class 56.] Delivering molten metal.-A feeder comprises a forehearth a having two or more discharging-orifices c each controlled by a separate plunger b, and means are provided for enabling each plunger to be operated or controlled independently of the others. In the construction shown, each plunger is reciprocated by a pneumatic cylinder k through a lever g, the usual screw-threaded rod n carrying a pair of adjustable nuts o being provided for regulating the stroke of the plunger. A rack f<7>, reciprocated by a pneumatic cylinder f<9>, may be provided for rotating the plungers.
