690,023. Flashed glass. GLACERIES DE ST. ROCH SOC. ANON. Jan. 17, 1952 [Feb. 1, 1951], No. 1384/52. Class 56. In the continuous production of flashed glass by rolling, Fig. 2, or drawing, Fig. 5, the flashing glass b is introduced into a float 4 partially immersed in the base glass a so that the flashing glass in overflowing from the float spreads out and forms a surface layer on the base glass. The float may be adjusted in height by rods 9 and may be fed from one of a number of interchangeable auxiliary tanks 10 each containing a glass of different colour.
