[Class 3 (ii).] A folding display device has two wings g, h hinged by scoring at i and provided with reflecting surfaces k, l. A piece of foldable material, such as stiff paper m, is secured to the wings and limits their outward movement. The device is maintained in the open position by a part q hinged to the extension r of the wing h and provided with a tongue u adapted to enter a slot v in an extension w of the wing g. The tongue may be provided with notches in order that the angle of opening may be varied, and in this case the part m is preferably rigid and is secured to one wing only. If the angle between the mirrors is not divisible into 360‹ non- reflecting strips 16, 17 may be so positioned as to obscure the non-coincident images. These strips and also the part q may bear advertising matter and advertisements may be applied to parts of the reflecting surfaces. In a modification, the reflecting surfaces may be arranged to form the inner surfaces of a hollow pyramid, which may be truncated, tongues which engage slots being provided for erecting the device. The pyramid may be laid on one side, and the object and its reflections viewed through the base. The reflecting surfaces may be silvered gelatine, transparent celluloid or the like.
