[Class 30.] A razor of the " straight " type adapted to take thin blades of the double-edged safety kind comprises clamping - plates 2, 5 having stems 1, 7 pivoted at 8. The blade is clamped by means of a milled head 8a on the pivot screw. A handle 14 is pivoted at 13 to the stem 1. The plates are wedge-shaped and are of suitable thickness to enable the device to be used for stropping or honing the blade.
