352,213. Steam &c. separators. BLAW-KNOX, Ltd., New Oxford House, Hart Street, Holborn, London.-(Blaw- Knox Co. ; National Bank Building, 5th Avenue, Pittsburg, Pennsylvania, U.S.A.) June 19, 1930, No. 18788. [Class 123 (iii).] Separators for removing impurities such as oil or water from gases or steam comprise an elongated casing 10 with an outlet 14 at one end and an inlet 12 extending along each side with baffles 13 mounted therein and an inner passageway 20 formed by plates 18, 19, the lower edges of which terminate above its base to form a transverse passage increasing in height as it recedes from the outlet end. Side plates 23 are attached to the casing leaving an opening 24 at the upper corner of the separator.
