[Class 138 (ii).] In a rotary dolly washing-machine one end of the arm 5 carrying the dolly 13 and the manuallyactuated operating mechanism 12, 14, 15, 16 therefor is supported by the operator and the other end fits loosely over a post 1 secured to the wash-tub 2 and is held at any desired height by a chain 7 whereby the dolly may be operated at any height within the tub with its shaft 11 vertical or inclined and either at the centre of the tub or to either side thereof.
