Abstract

A cement for electric lamp caps and the like, contains in addition to the usual resins or artificial resins, solvents and fillers, one or more esters, having a high boiling point, of an inorganic acid or acids. As examples of the resins is given shellac, colophony, and Bakelite, as solvents alcohol and acetone, as fillers calcspar and whiting, and as esters triphenyl and tricresyl phosphate. Additions of 1 to 3 per cent are mentioned.
