349,181. Forceps or pliers. KRUPP AKT.-GES., F., Essen, Germany. March 13, 1930, No. 8148. Convention date, April 17, 1929. [Class 61 (ii).] A surgical forceps or instrument of a scissor-like nature comprises two members one of which, C, D, embraces the other A, at the pivot pin B so that there is no tendency to lateral twist when pressure is applied, the said embracing member consisting of two parts C and D detachably connected by the pivot pin so as to allow of assemblage and disassemblage for cleaning. The parts C, D are held in rigid relationship by the interengagement of tongues and slots c<2>, d<3> and c<3>, d<2>.
