465,989. Supports for gloves. LAUTENSCHLAGER, F. July 14, 1936, Nos. 19520 and 19521. Convention dates, Nov. 21, 1935 and Feb. 24, 1936. [Class 141] A support for an indiarubber glove while being sterilized is made of artificial resin or other poor conductor of heat, is of flat or slightly curved cross-section and consists of two or more parts movably or releasably connected together at or near the wrist end of the support. Fig. 1 shows a thumb member 6 pivoted by a rivet 7 to the main plate 1 provided with fingers 2, 3, 4, 5. Grooves 9 may be provided in the plate 1. In a modification, a slot is provided in the thumb member which is thus free to slide on the rivet 7. In another modification, the rivet is replaced by a conical pin on the thumb member engaging a hole in the main plate. Fig. 6 shows three members 14, 15, 16 held together by a box-like member 18 provided with ribs to engage grooves 19 in the members. In a modification, the box-like member is open at one end so as to slide edgewise on to the members ; in a further modification, the box is of substantially cylindrical form to engage a bead on the members. In another modification, a sleeve is slidden on to the members in a longitudinal direction.
