[Class 110 (iii).] Relates to a method of assembling turbine blades so that they shall not become loose through the expansion of the rotor under the influence of centrifugal force. While the blades are being inserted, the rotor disc a is heated by gas jets b, and the rim is cooled by water as at c or d, or by air jets.
