Abstract
346,340. Dustbins. LAWSON, R. W., 17, Wren Avenue, Cricklewood, London. Dec. 31, 1929, No. 39870. [Class 26.] A disc 3, Fig. 1, of absorbent material impregnated with a deodorizing and disinfecting material is carried by a dustbin lid. The disc may be protected from injury by a perforated disc 5 with or without an upper disc 6, or by an enclosing perforated casing. The securing bolt 8 may be permanently fixed to the lid, or a piercer 13, Fig. 6, in one with the bolt or adapted to be screwed on to it may be provided to form the necessary hole in the lid.
