Abstract

207,097. Moyer, P. S., and Turpin, W. A. Feb. 22, 1923. Drying agents, boxes specially designed for; lids.-A lid, such as the square flanged lid of a biscuit box, is provided with means for attaching to its underside a cake of dehydrating material. The cake 7 is supported upon a perforated plate 4, having a flanged edge 5, suitably secured to the underside of the lid, the cake being retained in position by tongues 8 stamped from the plate. The cake may be enclosed in a casing of aluminium gauze or other perforated non-rusting material, or the parts of the lid and plate concerned may be formed of or covered with non- rusting material.
