835,167. Mincers. ETABLISSEMENTS SIMON & DENIS S.A. Dec. 19, 1957 [Feb. 5, 1957; Aug. 27, 1957], No. 39564/57. Class 28 (2). A mincer comprises a receptacle 4 with a perforated cutting plate bottom 8, swept over by rotated helical plates 11, 11<SP>1</SP> when the handle 16 is rotated, the plates being secured to a hub 12 with an undulated top, bearing against the undulated sleeve 15, of a fixed pillar 20 so that the helices bear down on the perforated bottom 8, the sleeve 15 being held down by a nut 3 and rotating the ring and its helices. The helices are provided with additional integral cutters 18, Fig. 8, which cut off any sinews which then can enter the perforations and be minced in the usual way. The wall of the receptacle 4 has undulations 10 to minimize rotation of the meat. A cover for 4 may be provided.
