Void [Published under Sect. 91 of the Acts]. [Class 120 (ii).] "Feed press or floating or dabbing rollers for pressing slivers or " tufts of fibres" into the "circular comb of drawing-apparatus for spinning and preparing machines for wool comprise sleeves 2, which are independent of their axles 1 so that the weight of the sleeve only is operative on the fibres, and are supported by bushes 3, 4, of which one is fixed on the axle and the other is removable by being screwed thereon or, as shown in Figs. 4 and 5, is normally pressed by a spring 7 against a cross-pin 9 in the axle engaging slots 8 and may be removed by giving it a quarter turn so that by means of slots 10 it may slide over the cross-pin, or both bushes may be fixed on the shaft.
