[Class 18.] A compartmented spice &c. sprinkler has a packing ring with bridge-pieces positioned between an apertured plate and the upper edges of the container and dividing walls ; and separate cover flaps for the compartments are mounted above the apertured plate. In a sprinkler with two compartments, an apertured plate 2 is positioned over a packing piece 5 and has depending ribs 3 engaging both sides of the wall between the compartments. The plate is retained in place by a screw ring 4 with an inturned flange, but this flange may be outturned to engage an inturned flange on the plate 2. Cover flaps 8. hinged between lugs 6 on the plate 2 are pressed downwards by springs, and may be provided with projections to enter the holes in the plate.
