Contents, delivering.-A powder box a having a hinged lid b is provided with a cup or container e for the powder and a dished perforated plate h having an integral flange g which is a sliding and rotating fit in the smooth internal wall of the cup so that, as the plate is pushed on to the powder in the cup and rotated, powder is fed through the perforations in the plate. The plate is provided with buttons or a hinged bail handle by which it may be manipulated and some or all of the perforations have their edges forced down to form lips or scoops. A deflector may be arranged on the underside of the plate to feed the powder towards the centre thereof.
