Abstract
721,527. Boxes. KRUFT, H. Dec. 30, 1952 [April 17, 1952; July 11, 1952; Sept. 25, 1952], No. 32996/52. Class 18. A circular box for needles, tablets &c. has relatively rotatable parts having peripheral apertures which may be brought into alignment to enable part of the contents to be discharged. The box has an inset 1 secured to a base 19, the inset having radiating grooves 7 for needles, and a lid 2 clipping over the inset. An element 23 secured to the inset may assist in retaining the needles in their grooves. In another embodiment, Fig. 9 (not shown), the lid, base and inset are immovably secured to each other and a peripheral ring having the necessary aperture is rotatable in a groove formed by the base and lid. In a further embodiment a compartment 27 is provided beneath the inset 1 closed by a hinged lid 28. The inset may have a central partition 9 forming a two tier box for tablets. and have apertured lid elements 17, 18 fitting on both sides to close the two compartments. The lids may be transparent. Stops may be arranged to retain the parts in open or closed position. A box may contain a disc of material impregnated with a rust inhibiting chemical. A mirror may be fitted. The element 23 may be coated with luminous paint.
