345,173. Safety razors. PILBROW, A. H., 318, Camberwell New Road, London. June 17, 1930, No. 18497. [Class 30.] In a safety razor of the clamped blade type the blade 1 is provided with a straight cutting edge and an outwardly curved one 2, there being guard-teeth 8 to correspond, and the edge 2 is given a longitudinal curvature in the holder in addition to the transverse curvature of the entire blade. For this purpose the side of the guard having the curved edge 8 is cambered and the clamping plate 3 correspondingly arched. The middle part of the upper face of the guard is machined off to prevent blade crack.
