Abstract

355,123. Safety razors. TELL, E. E. VON, 20, Frolundagatan, Gothenburg, Sweden. Nov. 4, 1930, No. 33180. [Class 30.] In a clampedblade safety razor of the kind described in Specification 317,279, [Class 30, Cutlery], wherein the guard is constituted by axially scored rollers 2, these are partially surrounded by a scraper plate 15 which removes excess lather from the path of the rollers and is clamped together with the guard-plate 4 to the backing plate 18 which carries the usual clamping and aligning pins. The guard-plate 4, which carries the bearing spindles 5 of the rollers 2 on lateral arms, has a series of recesses 3 to accommodate cut hair, and the blade 13 is clamped near its edges so as to prevent vibration by ribs 6 between the recesses 3.
