Abstract

344,698. Cord grips. GENERAL ELECTRIC CO., Ltd. and QUANCE, F. G., Magnet House, King sway, London. April 16, 1930, No. 12037. [Class 38 (i).] A cord-grip for a conductor comprises a ring- shaped piece 8, Fig. 1, that is clamped between a cover-piece 3, Fig. 3, and an insulating basepiece 2 of a plug coupling and has extensions 11 which are connected by a trough-shaped bridge-piece 12 between which and a clip 13 the conductors are clamped. The ring 8 is prevented from rotating by projections 10 on the base-piece 2 which engage recesses 9 in the ring. The bridge-piece 12 and clip 13 may be ribbed to give additional grip.
