Plug couplings.-Terminal connecting means for inductance coil carriers &c. comprise two elements, one of which by itself forms a female plug-in element and the other element is detachably secured thereto in such a manner that the elements together form a male plug-in connection or alternatively constitute a gimbal pivot mounting' for the carrier. As shown, Fig. 2, the female element 1 receives the male element 2 in a short tapped hole 1<d> or the male element can be received in either of two lateral tapped holes 1<e>, Fig. 4. The terminals are secured by insulating nuts 3 in slots 4a, 9<a> in the coil mount or for " gimbal " mounting in slots 9<b>, Fig. 4. The carrier 4, Fig: 2, is provided with pivots 5<a> which are gripped within split terminal members 6 engaged by nuts 6<c>. Specification 260,670 is referred to.
