Abstract
341,345. Hook and buckle attachments. BURNS, R., 17, Greame Street, Moss Side, Manchester. March 28, 1930, No. 9874. [Class 43.] A combined swivel hook and buckle attachment for the shoulder straps of rucksacks and the like is formed from a single blank A<2> stamped with indented recesses a, apertures a<2>, and lugs a<1>. The blank is folded on itself with a transverse loop to enclose a bar d of a buckle or slide D, the indents a forming a recess for the swivelling stem of a hook or eye-bolt b which is thus clamped therein. The head b<1> of the hook or bolt rests in the recess formed by the apertures a<2>, and the lugs a<1> bind the two edges of the blank firmly together.
