Rotary machines; driving-arrangements.-Two armatures or motors 52, 53 of a double directcurrent or alternating-current motor are freely mounted on a driving-shaft 51 and connected to bevel wheels 54, 55 respectively, which gear with bevel wheels 57 carried by a collar 56 fixed to the shaft, so as to provide a differential drive. The two fields 48, 49 are provided in a common member 50.
