339,168. Waldrich, O. March 2, 1929, [Convention date]. Rollers, treating.- A machine for grinding rollers with a convex or concave longitudinal surface consists of a slide H traversed along the work on the machine bed and having pivoted thereto at F, a grinding - head E carrying a grinding-wheel M. The wheel is rocked about the pivot F, towards and from the axis of the work, by a bar B, upon which rests a bearing D adjustable by a screw G on the head E, the bar B being pivoted at C to the slide H and rocked by a cam A. A number of cams, or a cam drum of varying profile may be employed, the bar being adjusted along its pivot to engage the required cam.
