Abstract
338,799. Lorenz Akt.-Ges., C. Feb. 11, 1929, [Convention date]. Copying-telegraphs.-To facilitate the amplification of currents produced by a, photo-electric cell Ph influenced by light reflected from a picture drum Z, the cell is constantly illuminated by an additional source of light G, the intensity of which varies in accordance with alternating current supplied to it. The light G may be a glow lamp, and the frequency of the alternating current is the desired carrier frequency. The cell Ph is connected through a battery B1 to a resistance R in the grid circuit of a valve R1. According to the Specification as open to inspection under Sect. 91 (3) (a), the source G may be an arc lamp or the like. This subject-matter does not appear in the Specification as accepted.
