Abstract

338,050. Jagenberg-Werke Akt.-Ges. Dec. 31, 1928, [Convention date]. Delivery apparatus. - Sheets 2 cut from a paper web 3 are delivered from the cutters 1 at a greater speed than the web by conveyer belts 4 - - 6 and deposited in overlapping formation on a slow-moving conveyer 7 which forwards them to a pile 12. The belts 6 are arranged above the sheets 2 and a blower 8 causes the sheets to remain in contact therewith until they are stripped therefrom by a roller-9 and fall on to the belt 7. Rollers 10, 11 transfer the sheets from the belts 7 to the pile 12 and a blower 13 assists in supporting the sheets.
