Cylinders, cooling. -In a water-cooled radial cylinder engine having three rows of cylinders d, e, f, seen in plan in the Figure, the water circulating pump a has two delivery outlets b, c each of which is connected to a complete external row, and half the middle row, of cylinders. Similarly, each of two return pipes is supplied by a complete external row and half the middle row of cylinders; the two pipes mav unite before connection to the radiator.
