Abstract

337,120. Timings, S. Sept. 5, 1929. Garment racks.-A garment rack consists of swinging rods 15 carried by an arm 1 pivotally mounted on a pivot pin which projects at right angles from an attachment plate 6 by which the rack is secured to the side of a wardrobe &c. The pin consists of lugs pressed out of the attachment plate 6 and its outer end is covered by a plate 8 secured to the plate 6 by a flange 9. Shoulders 11, 12 on the arm 1 engage with the ends 13, 14 of the flange 9 to limit the pivotal movement of the arm. The arms 15 are held in their sockets 18 by lugs 19 having shoulders 20 to limit the swinging movement of the arms. The arm 1 is held in its raised position by a catch on the wardrobe &c. engaging a projection 25 near the; end of the arm.
