Kinematograph apparatus. - In projectors, particularly for use with narrow films, in which aircooled electrical resistances are used. a casing 8 of small dimensions and directly in communication with a ventilating fan 5 houses resistances 9 such as those included in the lamp or motor circuits. Preferably the fan is. mounted on the shaft of the motor 1 and is arranged to draw in air through the motor windings. In the arrangement described. the resistance easing has an opening 10 at its upper end leading into the lamp casing 11 so that the hot air from the former creates a draught of coal air through the latter by way of apertures in the lamp holder 15. An adjustable flap 12 at the top of the resistance casing controls the ventilating device.
