Abstract
249,011. Seids, A. Aug. 21, 1925. Screw motors; casings; regulating. - A wind motor comprises two vane-wheels 5, 6 mounted in a cylindrical casing 2 having a supply funnel 1 at one end and an elliptical discharge funnel 3 at the other end which acts as a tail-vane to keep the revoluble casing 2 up to the wind. The vanes of the front-wheel 5 are spaced nearer together than those of the wheel 6. Shutters 8 in the funnel 1 yield under excessive wind pressure and uncover outlets for the wind.
