335,088. Mason, H. G., and Barker, H. C. Oct. 19, 1929. Cylinders.-In a beer engine, the cylinder 6, which may be of glass, is clamped, together with its covers 8, 9, against the boss 14b of a bracket 14, by side-rods 15, pivoted to the bracket and engaging jaws 9a on the cover 9, by means of wing nuts 15a. The boss 14b has a central aperture through which the piston-rod passes, and the inlet pipe 13 and outlet pipe 8<a> are situated on the covers. The bracket 14 is rigidly attached to the engine casing.
