Abstract

335,074. Johnson, J. Y., (I. G. Farbenindustrie Akt.-Ges.). Oct. 4, 1929. Ink.-Lithographic printing-inks using as bases cellulose-ester or cellulose-ether lacquers, as described in Specification 318,567, have all the constituents of such a nature that they repel water. According to examples, inks are constituted as follows : (1) nitrocellulose, castor oil, diethyl phthalate, dimethyl phthalate, ethyl benzoate, dammar resin, and zinc white; (2) nitrocellulose, castor oil, ester gum, lampblack, dimethyl phthalate, and benzyl acetate; (3) acetyl cellulose, chrome yellow, triphenyl phosphate, ethylene glycol mono-salicylate, and triacetin.
