Abstract
334,445. Soc. Franþaise Radio Electrique. Nov. 16, 1928, [Convention date]. Thermionic generators.-A frequency-changing circuit comprises four amplifying-valves 1 - - 4, and two independent frequencies are each applied to a combining-member TE<1>, TE<11> associated with the input circuits, and the output circuits are associated with a third combining-member TS, from which a single resultant, frequency is taken. Potentials of equal amplitude but different frequency are applied to primary windings p<1>, p<11> of the input transformers, and the secondary windings s<1>1 - - s<11>4 of the input transformers and the primary windings P1 - - p4 of the output transformer so connected in phase and opposition that a single sum or difference frequency is obtained in the secondary winding s of the output transformer.
