Spring wheels.-Two sets of helical springs E, F are fitted between the hub A, a floating ring B, and the tyre-carrying rim C, the springs of each set alternating with, and overlapping, those of the other set. The inner springs E are held by threaded nipples 12, 12a secured by setscrews 13, 13a, the outer springs F being held by similar nipples 12b and seats 18 secured to the rim C.
