Tobacco pipes. - The stem of a pipe is fitted at the mouthpiece end b<1> with a detachable tip d provided with a tubular projection d' fitting in the bore of the stem, the bore d<2> of the projection d<1> leading to divergent outlets f, f<1> inclined at an acute angle to the bore d<2> and opening into an annular space between the surfaces g, h of the tip d and the stem b<1>. The end of the stem b<1> is formed with a projecting portion k against which the tip d abuts. Fig. 4 shows a horizontal section of the device.
