Abstract
331,843. Morsbach, K. April 3, 1929. Kinematograph apparatus; optical-projection apparatus.-A small film projector has an in termittent feed of the kind in which the film is not held in the intervals between the feed movements and working at a time ratio of less than 1 to 6. The intermittent feed is effected bv a frame 13, Figs. 3, 4, and 5. reciprocated by a cam 12 formed of opposite circular sections JK, GH, Fig. 4, the difference of the radii of which is equal to the feed and which are separated by an angle a less than 60‹, in the form shown about 45‹. The cam 12 is mounted on the same shaft 7 as the shutter 10, the blades of which also subtend about 45‹. The film is fed forward by claws 16 intermittently reciprocated by a cam 11 mounted on the shaft 7 and formed of a bent metal disc engaging a fork 18. The shaft 7 may be driven by an electric motor, on the shaft of which is mounted a fan for cooling the apparatus. The projector lens 24, Fig. 3, is mounted in a holder 25 provided with a rail displaceably mounted in a slot 27 and moved by a lever 30.
