Implements with adjustable tool frames; travelling and propelling gear; lifting tool frames manually.-A cultivating attachment for tractors comprises a frame pivotally connected to the rear part of the tractor and provided at the rear with a transverse tool-carrying bar 4, and another frame 13 fixed in the tractor and carrying a transverse spindle provided with a hand-lever 18 or the like and with rearwardly extending arms connected by slotted links 26 and a spring or springs 29 with the pivoted frame so that the tool-carrying frame is free to rise against spring action and so that the depth of work is determined by the setting of adjustable stops in conjunction with the hand-lever, which lever also serves to raise the tools clear of the ground. The side members 2 of the tool-carrying frame are pivotally connected to bolts 8 passing through clamping-straps 9 encircling the tractor axle 10. The tine-carrying bar 4 consists of two flat bars connected together by bolts 11 and distance pieces. The frame 13 is U-shaped and is bolted to the drawbar connection 15 and stayed by rods 16. The hand lever 18 on the transverse spindle 17 is provided with a locking-quadrant 21. Two arms 24 on the spindle 17 are connected by the forked or slotted links 26 with a bar 27 on the pivoted frame, and a third arm on the spindle 17 is connected to the bar 27 by the adjustable tension spring 29. The adjustable stops 34 on the links 26 project into the slots below the bar 27. Two rows of tines are adjustably secured on the tine-bar 4 by eye-bolts 32.
