Abstract

329,886. Soc. Anon. Mido. Feb. 20, 1929, [Convention date]. Cases, watch. - A case 1 carrying the movement is hinged at 7 into an outer casing 5 having a pivoted cover 6 which moves parallel to the plane of the dial. A pivot pin 8 on the cover pivots in a sleeve 10 in the casing 5, being held by a groove and a spring clamp 12. A spiral spring is fixed at one end to the pivot 8 and at the other end to a part rigid with sleeve 10 so that it automatically moves the cover in one direction since it has been stressed by the movement in the other direction. In the present instance this spring returns the cover to closing position, a snap spring 16 engaging a notch 17.
