Class 3(2) A road marking stud comprises a reflex reflector which is mounted on a U-shaped resilient member restrained against excessive lateral displacement relative to the casing by means of grooves n formed in the box of the latter. The reflecting elements are mounted on the U-shaped member by a carrier C which is provided with sponge wipers d and is slotted at k to releasably engage projections b formed integral with the said casing as claimed in Specification 845,613.
