Abstract

329,558. Koover, Ltd., (Hoover Co.). July 5, 1929. Refrigerating, compression machines for.-Air cooled condensers comprise one or more coils 15, 16, surrounding the motor-compressor unit 10, 13, with tubular baffle member 17, 18, surrounding each coil. The outer tubular member is preferably closed at one end by a cap 19. The motor shaft carries a centrifugal fan 20 directing a current of cooling-air over the coil surfaces. The apparatus may be mounted vertically, the fan then being dispensed with.
