329,409. British United Shoe Machinery Co., Ltd., and Ricks, F. Feb. 27, 1929. Vulcanizing boots. -Rubber soles are vulcanized to any usual size of boot forepart by apparatus comprising a flat patterned bed plate 10, an adjustable clock spring 15, and a flat internal plate 32. The stresses in the boot uppers are relied upon to produce a natural curvature of the sole when the pressure is released.
