Plastic compositions containing indiarubber or butadiene condensation products and carbon black.-Carbon black prepared by thermal decomposition of carbon monoxide in the presence of water vapour and of an iron catalyst and containing up to about 2.5 per cent of iron is used in vulcanizing rubber or rubber-like articles produced from crude rubber or plastic resilient polymerization products of diolefines.
