Trouser presses and stretchers.-A stretching device attached to a trouser press comprises a pair of gripping bars 3, 4 mounted on a pair of arms 5 pivoted at 7 on brackets 6 on the lower board. The brackets 6 are shaped to provide spring catches 6a which maintain the arms in alignment with the press boards or prevent them returning to such position when rotated to the position shown. Means for retaining the pivoted arms in adjusted position may consist of a series of holes in the brackets for engagement by a pin passing also through the arms. The arms 5 and brackets 6 are of channel section.
