278,409. Baker, F. S., Richards, J. L., and Hydro-Press Machines, Ltd. June 11, 1926. Sheet-regitering devices.- A type-alignment bar 20 for use in cutter-crush embossing-machines is formed of less thickness than the type 22 so as to prevent its being pressed into the cardboard 24, and is provided at each end with a pin 21 adapted to engage spaced holes 19 along the edges of the platen 13, the pins being displaced from the centre line of the bar so that by turning the bar end for end two positions of adjustment can be obtained. In order to facilitate the adjustment of the cardboard 24, the bars 20 situated above the cardboard are spaced therefrom by means of washers 23 placed on the pins 21. One bar 20 however may be allowed to rest direct on, the platen 13 so as to serve as a registering device for the cardboard.
