Abstract

326,356. Bentley, F. March 18, 1929. Combination undergarments.-A slip-in type of garment is provided with an overlapping neck portion to allow of greater expansion when donning the garment. As shown the overlapping portions extend from the neck across the wearer's chest to the hips. From the waist to the crutch no opening is provided at the front except for male wear, when a small slot f may be provided. At the lower rear part overlapping seat parts are provided terminating in a square crotch part which is permanently closed by stitching. In the manufacture of the garment two blanks shaped as shown in Fig. 3 are taken and folded. along a line g. Each blank forms one half of the garment, the folds g being down the sides of the garment when completed. Slots k are cut for the reception of the sleeves.
