Road-surface boxes; kerbs; draining-channels.-The kerboverflow fitting for street gullies described in the parent Specification is provided with a central aperture 9 in the lower curved part through which surface water passes into a pipe or channel located beneath the pathway and leading to a ditch or drain. Preferably the aperture is formed with a tubular extension, the bottom of which is inclined downwardly from the front edge of the overflow. A road-retaining bar 13 forming a weir is mounted at the front of the overflow fitting.
