Abstract
323,452. Young, H. G. L. June 25, 1929. Cord fastenings.-Fastenings for the securing strings of parcels comprise a base plate to which is riveted a resilient plate with a bent-up periphery or fingers. In one form, Fig. 2, the flat plate 1 has riveted to it a disc 2 with a bent.- up periphery 3; the disc is resiliently held down by the spring fingers 9 of a member 8 secured by the common rivet 4. The string is gripped between the plate 1 and disc 2. In the form shown in Figs. 6 and 8, the disc is replaced by the strip 10 with bent-up ends, and the spring fingers by the dished washers 12, 13.
